What is a Dream Catcher?

A dream catcher should be hung directly or as close to over the place you sleep and where the morning light can hit it. It is said that positive dreams are able to navigate their way through the dream catcher’s web and then glide down the feathers, reaching the sleeping person beneath. Negative dreams, not knowing their way through the dream catcher’s webs, get caught up in the dream catcher and expire with the first rays of the morning sun.
Here at The Open Mind Center, we have a beautiful array of dream catchers made by Kheops International. Our brilliantly colored dream catchers are handcrafted by native individuals in Bali. Our selection of dream catchers include rainbow dream catchers, pink and purple beaded dream catchers, and a more natural looking brown dream catcher decorated intricately with large feathers and beads.
