As we celebrate the freedom of our country, we should begin to think about our own freedom. What limitations are we putting on ourselves? What are you accepting for your life? What are you allowing to cause disharmony in your life? What do you need to let go of that you want so badly to hang onto? Answer these questions and your “shackles” can be revealed to you.
It is up to you to free yourself.
What does this mean:
– It is up to you to have the desire to change. You have to want it.
– It is up to you to open your mind and heart to healing.
– It is up to you to put action to the intention of changing.
Sometimes we are too close to the issue to feel it out or understand life without it. When there is an issue that you have carried with you for your entire life (and sometimes many lifetimes before), it becomes comfortable. It becomes all we know. It’s hard to comprehend life without it. It can even become rather difficult to even realize it is there. That’s where intuitive readings and energy healings come into play. It can be a lot easier for someone that is not in your body to detect when something is off. Spiritually guided intuitives can not only get the information, but help you move towards a place of healing.
If you prefer to take your own route, there are a few things you can try. Close your eyes and picture what you would like to release. If it is a person, hug that person, thank them for what they have brought into your life, and lovingly release them. Wave goodbye with a smile on your face as you watch them walk away, and picture them smiling and waving in return. That way the release will be gentle and from a place of love.
If it is an object or idea, close your eyes and picture yourself holding the object or idea in your hands. See a column of light come down and surround what is in your hands, turning it into a ball of light. Feel yourself gently releasing that ball of light and watch it fly away. Feel the knowing that it will be turned into something that will benefit the good of all. Feel the release creating space in your life for something bigger and better.
If it is a faulty thought, recognizing it is the first step. Then, you must pay attention to your thoughts. When you feel or hear that faulty thought come up, catch it and turn it into something positive. For example, let’s say you have an old habit of telling yourself that you are not good enough. When you feel like you are not good enough, or hear the voices in your head telling you that you are not good enough, yell “STOP!”. You don’t have to yell it out loud, you can yell it your mind, as long as it is directed at the thought. Once you have stopped the thought, replace it with some opposing affirmations, for instance, “I am worthy!”, “I deserve great things!”, “I am capable of doing amazing things!”.
Lighten your load, my friend. Release what no longer serves you. Get back to the core of who you are and all you are meant to be. Free yourself!
